Fire has been mankind’s steady yet tempestuous companion from the dawn of civilization. Thus, no one should be surprised that our cultural landscape is sprinkled with many references to fire, fueling our imagination, interlocking with history, and filling the airwaves with drama, heroism, and dare.

Site-Specific Performance
Untie is a culmination of my evolution as an artist.
In Untie, I am suspended in mid-air; helpless and unable to break free. My body is suspended for display and therefore surrendered to viewers. This metaphor portrays the artist as a political body that is captive to materialism and confined by structured spaces.

Burning the words that are written subconsciously on the theme of disappearing, identity, language as a form of expression, the journey of self development in this world and reflecting on the contemporary life.
