“Fire inside”

The main medium in which the flame is. The artist works with the metaphor of fire, thereby reminding the audience that fire is hidden in each of us. For Josifov, this project is first and foremost a path to the study of freedom and oneself. “The burning process gives me an understanding of where I really am at the moment in my life. In the process of performance, I dance the tango with fire. I must be extremely careful and cautious; must control my breathing and every movement. But at the same time, I have to trust the fire and understand it, ”says the artist about his project.

The project “Fire inside” has existed for more than ten years. Depending on the context and conditions, the flame itself is present in deferent forms: live fire, video projection, burnt fragments of matter and paper.
